Take a look at the pertronix ignition module for GM. It will fit in the stock distributer. Have used this in a few restoration projects. Work's great!

Toying with the idea of converting to HEI on my 71 convertible. Just wondering if any body has done it and what where the results. Love to keep the car as is. But I hear they run better with the upgrade. Hope some one can help me decide. Thank you
