General Cutlass SX455 Q&A

1970 w-32 numbers don't match
Author Last Post
It seems someone has changed the engine. Please post some pictures of the car and post a picture of the data plate on the firewall.
Recently bought a 1970 w-32 "barn find" . I believe it is a w-32 because the rear end is a 3.08 and the carb # is correct for a w-32. The car is 100 percent untouched. The person I bought it from has had it since 1980 and didn't know much about the sx... I didn't either till I bought it. They had never done anything to it and has been sitting for years. The block # does not match the vin#. Does anyone know possible reasons for this?
