Thank you for that information. I also looked online and some sites said to also check the oil and temperature sending unit if your problem still exists knock on wood it doesn't.

Both my SX and 442 has the oil pressure gauge bouncing or jumping around. I send my SX gauge pod to Auto instruments in Martinsville VA. to fix the fuel gauge and temp gauge as they were not working and to check oil gauge, he said he had to calibrate the oil pressure gauge. I haven't installed it yet to see if it is fixed. I have the aftermarket gauge pod in it now.

Has anyone had an issue with the needles on your gauges jumping around? If so can you recommend a fix or know what's causing it. I don't know whether it's a loose wire or something else. I appreciate any advice.
