1971 Supreme SX Cutlass
Author Last Post
Thanks for posting Terry -
Original Sienna car? Any paperwork showing Y79?

No personal offense meant, but your "facts" are way off base. You're on the SX455 site - it's not too hard to do your homework here before posting....

>>In 1971, two options were offered: W/31 or L/32

A W31 350 in 1971? Nope. On a Supreme ever? Nope. Or a convertible? Nope. L32 was the only available SX engine in 1971.

>> which also included a Hurst dual gate shifter, power windows, a W/27 posi rear and increased horsepower from >>340-365. A/C was also included.

None of these were ever included in any single option package for an SX - all of these were individually available options.

Good luck with the sale.
In 1970, Oldsmobile made a special edition of the Cutlass Supreme. It was tagged SX. The SX came with a 455 cubic inch motor, bucket seats, center console Turbo 400 two options were offered transmission dual exhaust and a cut out bumper. Some early 1970 models came with a two-barrel carburetor. In 1971, two options were offered: W/31 or L/32, which also included a Hurst dual gate shifter, power windows, a W/27 posi rear and increased horsepower from 340-365. A/C was also included. Production was very low in 1970. Only 6404 coupes and 793 convertibles were built.
In 1971, 18,209 coupes and 357 convertibles were built. Research states, that only 48-1971 convertibles are registered in the US. This car is extremely rare, it is a 1971 Cutlass Supreme SX with the L/32 option. SALE PRICE 30,500.00
